Pakistani airstrikes on Afghanistan

Date:

Pakistani military aircraft have conducted airstrikes on Afghanistan’s eastern Patika province resulting in 46 killings , including children and women. The Afghan Taliban has quipped that it is bound to retaliate with vital strikes on Pakistan.

In this unforeseen event, six people have also been injured. As per the Deputy Spokesman Hamdullah, there were bombings in four locations in Afghanistan. Addressing the media, Afghanistan’s foreign office has mentioned that it has delivered a formal press note to Pakistan by summoning Pakistan’s head of mission in the Capital region on the Pakistani airstrike and raised concerns on diplomatic consequences as well.

Government of Pakistan have remained silent and have not immediately responded on the event. It is said that Pakistani airstrikes on Afghanistan was conducted on the Pakistani Taliban Islamist militant group, which were harboured by Afghani Taliban militants.

Pakistani Taliban group (TTP) have caused major havocs and damage to Pakistan internally, without even in the hands of Pakistan Army or ISI. TTP draw their ideologies from Afghani Taliban and intend to instill the Islamic rules as imposed in Afghanistan.

Defence ministry of Afghanistan has identified the people who have been killed in the Pakistani airstrikes as “ mostly Wazirstani refugees”, hinting that they were Pakistanis.

Afghanistan and Pakistan do not have a good relationship, politically and even the terrorist groups are taking down Pakistan. Pakistan’s position now remains very volatile. Internal conflicts, attacks from Afghanistan Taliban, Baloch rebels and uncontrolled Punjab province.

The growing support from China will also not subside the imbalance, which Pakistan has created for itself.
