- I forgot to mention that the US has troops physically deployed in various parts of Europe—almost 70,000 on active duty. There are 33,000 in Germany alone, which is almost a Corps-strength force.
- The US provides air defence protection to Germany against any nuclear threat.
- 12,000 troops are deployed in Italy, which is almost a Division-strength force.
Dear EU members, please conduct a situation analysis in this light and work towards peace.
PS: Post-WW2, Germany and Italy, the two losers of WW2, were given protection by the US. That is why around 40,000 US troops are stationed there with the latest equipment. If that expenditure were placed on the shoulders of these two countries, their economies would sink.
France has offered to provide anti-nuclear cover now, but Germany is reluctant to accept it.
The EU has no option but to recoil and talk peace. It is in their favour.
